Growth, by its very nature, requires expansion and extension - two actions that often bring out our worst fears. Understandably so, as anything that requires going beyond your comfort zone is almost always accompanied by mental, emotional, and even physical pain - things that pretty much go against human nature.
Learning a new surgical technique.
Travelling to a new place where you don’t speak the language.
Doing something that was totally unexpected of you.
But it is only in going beyond your borders that you learn to challenge your limits and see how far you can go. You may be surprised at what you can find out about yourself.
Go ahead and start that journey, start that adventure. Go and escape the confines of what is and venture out to see what could be.
